Last week we attended the PLRB Claims Conference in Orlando, Florida and we were happy to see it back in full swing. If you are new to the insurance game, PLRB stands for Property & Liability Resource Bureau and this conference is one of the largest in the industry.
This year’s theme was “Your Claims Story.”
To summarize using some of their phrases, we “revved up our education with course selections from 14 education tracks with 100 sessions taught by industry leaders.”
Learning these latest trends and best practices allows us to bring back insights and strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of our claims handling processes.
We “expanded our network by connecting with a diverse range of claims professionals.” One of the highlights being: putting faces to names with companies we work with! It is always great to finally meet the people we’ve developed relationships with over the years.
This is our fourth year attending the PLRB Conference and it is always an incredibly beneficial experience.
It helps us stay up-to-date on industry developments, improve our skills and knowledge and build valuable connections in the insurance community.
