When Tom Brady went from the Patriots to the Buccaneers there were many who said that it was a mistake. In fact, the longer he was in the league the more people voiced doubt that he could continue to play.

However, what these people simply overlooked was Tom Brady’s leadership. And the proof is in the pudding: he took a team he had just joined to winning the Super Bowl on their home turf.

His leadership drove the team forward and proved once again that he will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.

This got us thinking, what are some of the things it takes to be a good leader?

We’ve written out what we think are a few of the key qualities of a leader to help you strengthen your company, reputation and services.

1. Engage in honest, open communication.

One of the most important elements of effective leadership is creating an open line of communication with your customers. Displaying active communication skills and transparency can build trust among your clients and improve overall morale with your team.

We use cream-of-the-crop seasoned adjusters as Supervisors to oversee claims every step of the way. The Supervisors are backed up by a team of report proofers and editors before a final technical review. And our adjusters have their own team of fully dedicated administrative and technical support.

This line ensures that everyone knows who can answer their questions and who to report to and that there are no slows or stops to getting claims completed.

2. Get the job done.

No one can argue with results. And leaders produce results. The easiest thing you can do to become a leader in your field is to deliver what you promise.

We were founded in 2001 by seasoned adjusters who still oversee the operation to ensure claims investigations get done by unbiased, honest professionals who are fast, accurate and get it done right the first time.

If we didn’t consistently and continuously deliver what we said we’d never have been around for as long as we have.

3. Ask for feedback.

A great thing to do can be to look at what your clients and customers are saying online. Look over the reviews and see if there is any area that has been said could be improved. Then, while keeping all of your other successful actions in, strengthen that one area that is weak.

We recently checked on our Google reviews and were honored and proud to find that we have more and better reviews from real Examiners than anyone!

This is something we will continue to monitor to ensure our quality standards stay high, as a leader in the insurance claims field should!
